Just yesterday I laughed really hard at this meme I saw on my phone. The meme consisted of two girls. One girl was drunk; the other one was not. In the video, the sober friend is trying to help her drunk friend get to bed, while the drunk friend is resisting and eating pizza. As the girl becomes more annoyed with her friend who’s trying to help her, she decides to slap her friend with the pizza really hard. After this happened, the girl with the pizza still in hands begins to laugh and apologize as she tries to now comfort her friend and go to bed. The friend decides to laugh about it as well even though her face was slightly red from the smack. As soon as I seen this, I felt like I was about to die of laughter. I found this hilarious firstly because I never thought a slice of pizza could hurt someone this bad. I find food comforting and never thought it could hurt someone to this extent. I once heard that humans hurting themselves is one of the things humans find the funniest, which I find to be true. This is why “America’s Funniest Home Videos” was such a success, but now these videos are extremely accessible like how I found this video on my phone. This isn’t only applicable online, but in real life too. For example, at least in my age range, if a friend trips and falls, we laugh first before helping them up if the injury was not a severe one. I also laughed because this made me reflect on life and the accuracy of one simply funny meme. One friend was trying to help another and she was payed unjustly for her kind deed. This is something I find to be true, which is why I don’t try to help drunk friends anymore. Haha! Just kidding, but still the friend is not mad at her by the end and continues to help her, which is what I find to be a true friend!
